HOLLYWOOD, CA (ANS) (ANS) -- Hollywood executives are scratching their heads, Daily Variety reported on 08/02/05.
A pair of slow-rolling family movies, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and MADAGASCAR, have been beating out lackluster action movies at the international box office, which, along with DVD sales, has become one of the few economic bright spots for Hollywood in the past two years.
Studio execs may be surprised but Ted Baehr, the entertainment maven at MOVIEGUIDE®, the family guide to movies, is not.

Smoking Study Suspended Due to Privacy Breach
University . As a result the 25-year study has been suspended. The study was halted by the school's Institutional Review Board, but is expected to resume soon.
